The following grants and fellowships will be presented during the IOF WCO – ECCEO10
The ESCEO-IOF-ABBH Young Investigator Awards recognize young investigators under the age of 40 for their excellence in bone and mineral research. The award includes a 2,000 Euros honorarium and is given to the lead investigator of the two highest scored abstracts submitted for presentation at the IOF WCO-ECCEO10.
The award recipients must:
1) be the first AND presenting author of the abstract
2) less than 40 years old.
The above eligibility criteria include students or trainees who have not yet obtained their doctoral degree. The members of the Program Committee will select the award winners based only on the scientific merit of the abstract. Nominations are not accepted. The winners will be announced on Saturday May 8 during Plenary Session V.
It is expected that part of the honorarium will be used to offset travel expenses and the remainder may be used by the recipient at his/her discretion.
If an individual selected to receive the grant does not present his or her abstract at the meeting, or is found to have not fulfilled eligibility criteria, the award will be cancelled and/or forfeited.
